Text Box: Q: What number does a parent call when they have questions?
A:   Each building has a telephone number that is listed in our local phone book.  
      All the numbers are also listed in the District calendar.  If you did not receive one of  these, please contact any of the building offices.
      Also, please call the District office at 332-5881 for assistance at any time.

Q: When are the upcoming music concerts?
A: Everyone is invited to support our	 excellent fine arts program!  The High School performs on Nov 3 at 7 PM.
The Middle School Concert will be held on Nov 5.  This is also at 7 PM.  Grades 3 & 4 perform on Nov 17 @ 1:15 PM.
All events will be held in the PAC.			
Q: What is the  Conference Schedule?
The K-8  Parent/Teacher Conferences are held November 18, 19, 23, 24, and 25.  School will be dismissed for those grades 12:50 on each of those days. The high school will be dismissed at 12:50 on November 25.

Text Box: Q: How does the Blaine School District observe Veterans’ Day?
On November 10, the Middle School will host an assembly at 1:00 PM in the PAC.  The Elementary school follows at 2:15. Blaine Primary School will be honoring our Veterans throughout the day on Monday and Tuesday of the week of November 9, 2009.  Students will be singing songs representing our country.  The teachers will also be honor Veterans in their classroom with a variety of Patriotic activities.   The High School students  will participate in classroom-based activities. 
Text Box: Q: Why are the flags at half-staff some days?
A:  Governor Christine Gregoire has the authority to direct that American flags at Washington State agencies  be lowered in memory of Washington State military personnel killed in action.  The Blaine School District complies with all such 
      requests.	
Q: Who do we contact about the programs that provide meals and gifts at holiday time? 
Please contact our Family Service Center if you know of  anyone that needs assistance during the  holidays. Also, the staff there would like to hear from you if you would like to donate items or volunteer your time for holiday projects, please call  332-0740.

Text Box: As we begin a new sports season in the middle and high schools, please contact the Athletic Director, Wayne Vezzetti regarding the Participation Fee information.  There is financial assistance available for students on free and reduced lunch programs.
