Homework is an esstential part of academics at Blaine Middle School. Students and parents should expect about 30-45 minutes of homework per night. Homework will consist of assignments meant to practice skills taught in class, as well as finish any work not that was not completed in class. Usually there is no new homework assigned over the weekend. There may be, however, projects that need to be worked on over the weekend or holiday.
Homework is not a punishment. My philosophy is that homework should reinforce skills taught in class.
