SAFE SHORES PROGRAM

The Blaine Middle School’s Safe Shores Program is funded by a five-year 21^st CCLC grant awarded in 2004 by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Safe shores offers several programs for both students and parents. Programs for students include Rocks and Water, Quick Stop, Student Theater and, most recently, Jumpstart. Offerings to parents include services through the Blaine Family Service Center and adult literacy tutoring through the Whatcom County Literacy Council.
