Welcome to my homework list for your class.  I hope you find it helpful.  It starts at the top with the beginning of the year, so look at the date to find the assignment that you need.

8/27/08

1)  Get a planner.

Complete the improved version of your paragraph that follows the model we took notes on in class.

1)  Complete your definitions by Thursday.  The words are recall, analysis, evaluation, synthesis, and creativity.

1)  Define your vocab words for Wednesday.  The words are:  conscience, conscious, thorough, through, though.

2)  Write an anecdote that reveals part of your personality, shift the tone and describe your personality, then add a thesis.

1)  Transition recipe:  You need to describe ho to do a simple task, special hobby, or great recipe...(something with at least 10 steps).  Without using numbers, be sure to transition smoothly between each step.

1)  Complete the majority of the peer edit process.  You'll have about 10 more minutes in class tomorrow.

3)  Be ready to use the lab to type f.d. tomorrow.

2)  Your final draft is due tomorrow with all the rough draft pieces and the peer editing sheet.
