To receive an athletic letter in track and field an athlete must complete the following:

1. Receive a total of 12 points through varsity meet competitions.

*Invitationals are scored 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1

2. Anyone making it to the Conference meet will automatically letter. To qualify for Conference, you must be one of the top two in your event or meet qualifying times/distances.

3. Each athlete from a scoring relay team will receive the total amount of points for the place.

4. Must have been regular in attendance at turnouts.

5. Must have followed the athletic code.

6. Must have completed the season unless injured or excused by the coach for a special reason.

7. Fourth year in program, but still a non-letterman by points will receive their letter.

8. Athletes may earn their letter at the coaches discretion by displaying a hard work ethic, regular attendance, and consistently setting and accomplishing goals.

*Any athlete that earns 100, 200, or 300 letter points, will receive an award.
