OUTLINE MAP OF US

Why study history? History is to a nation what memory is to an individual. A person without memory is sad and tragic. A society that ignores its past and lives only in the present loses a vital element of what we call civilization. History can tell us how far we have come as a nation - and how far we have yet to go. Through history we can see the achievements, as well as the failures, of those who have gone before.
