I was born in Bellingham, Washington. I have lived in Blaine for my whole life, except for college. I attended the Blaine School District and after high school I attended college at Central Washington University. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Then I earned my master's from City University. I have taught first grade and now I am currently teaching third grade. I am also married and have one son.

| I LOVE . . . to go for walks with my husband Kirk and son Bryce. We enjoy walking together in the evening time. I also love teaching third grade at Blaine Elementary School. I love to see the excitement in my students eyes when we are learning new things. |

It's FUN for me to . . . play with Bryce. He was born on April 11th and he is learning to do lots of new things everyday. It is also fun for me to go out to dinner with my family, boating, attending sporting events, and going on vacations together. It is also fun for me to read! I enjoy reading outside in the sun, especially magazines. |
| I'm GOOD at . . . making dinner for my family. We like to eat dinner together so we can talk about our days. I am also good at playing the piano. I started taking lessons while I was in third grade. I am also good at shopping! |
| I wish I was BETTER at . . . working in my yard. The weeds seem to grow too fast for me! I also wish I was better at sewing. |
