Taught and planned for all subjects. Make extensive use of computers in classroom, heavy internet experience. Participated in site based decision making committees. Member of district math, science, and communication curriculum adoption committees. Participant in on site literacy training. Attended facilitator training for LLIFE course. Established whole language support group for school staff. Presented inservice in literacy and writing workshops to staff in Blaine and Whatcom County. Participated in program to begin professional development school with Western Washington University and Blaine Elementary. Mentored teaching interns. Built and maintain Blaine Elementary School website.

PENNYCOOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Vallejo, California

Taught and planned for all subjects in a year round school. Used cooperative learning and thematic techniques extensively. Participated in school-wide program quality reviews. Helped to coordinate and implement student conflict manager program. Participated in on-site and off-site seminars to enhance student achievement. Worked on district science committee to adopt elementary science materials. Presented recommendations to site staff. Lead inservice activities based on hands-on science curriculum.
