All web pages must be saved into the "html" folder
(filename.htm)
All images must be saved into the "images" folder
before you put them in pages.
4) Use Mozilla to write your web pages. Open Mozilla, then go to the
file menu and choose "File- New- Composer page" (or you can use
shift-command-N)
5) To set page colors and background, go to the Format menu, and choose
"Page Colors and Background". Then, you can copy from the writing you
did in Appleworks or Word and paste the text into the web page. You may
need to redo some formatting once you paste it in.
Problems and answers:
1) I can't make the text fit on the page like it was on my Appleworks
file.
Use tables to set up borders around the text. This
makes it possible to get it to look
more like it would on paper.
2) I want to put pictures with
my text, but it looks bad when I put
them in.
Use tables for text and make cells for pictures.
Many sites do this, and it can be done
invisibly if you want.
3) I put pictures on my Appleworks file, but they dont' show on my web
page.
You will need to put the image in your image folder,
then insert in on the web page.
(You will probably want to use tables like mentioned
in the last two questions.)
