BES PE Scope and Sequence

The scope and sequence for the 54 days students participate in Physical Education is shown below. Over the last eleven years I have modified (and continue to do so) my lesson plans to ensure the following:

1). Students are in a safe environment

2). Incorporate as much practice on skill themes as possible

3). At least 70% of the class time is devoted to student's moving with a goal of 85% or higher

4). Individualized instruction for each student.

All activites (unless noted otherwise) are in a "skill-drill" format where ALL students are either working with self, partner, or in small groups of like ability levels. Skill-drills are simply that, to help students develop successful skills, on their own level(s) through continual general and specific feedback before going on to next progression.
